Seems water problems are the norm this spring! My pool filter took a dump...If it was just me I woulda' drained the damn pool and threw a cover over it...but...94/95 deg. for two days and house AC is sh%^! Couldn't let the kids swelter so...$300.00 later, new filter....there went some badly needed boat parts! IF the Rumble happens at all for us it'll probably be sans boat! That sucks!! I sure hope ya can get it fixed ASAP w/o any hassel!! This owning yer own home thing, oh yea what a good deal....apartment living, management responsible for maintenance...Hummmmm

Our best to ya bud!

Know anybody hiring??
About done with our bull **** weather up here.
Last few days have been nice but I bet we've had rain 40 out of 45 days!! (weather channel says we're 5" above normal)
Not much keeping me here, getting serious about finding a "real" job but don't know that I want to stay??
Thinking, after the Rumble it's hard to tell what might happen??
Maybe "stow away" with one of you fellars heading South!!
Would really like to be able to do what I love and maybe even make some money on it year round??
We'll see.

Looks like previuos plumber streesed the pipe into cracking, CSI investigation shows the angle of the crack was from pipe movement.

H2O, when i cut it off the pipe "sprung" back an inch!! so your dead on the money big guy!!

ok got the pieces all put together, now i gotta wait for awhile to turn the water back on and see if'n i gots me some more troubles after that one  tried to keep it all dry, it all went together nicely but who knows with this piping what else is gonna show soon  or even right away

i did notice while in the hole that the cutoff valve up by the wall of the house seemed "loose" so may be back in the hole soon :(

instigator, the cash has me stuck here too, hehehe thats why i decided to let my plumbers crack hang out in the wind bending over in the hole myself, i gotta save $$ to make it to the rumble, i tell ya though i'll be good at plumbing the way this is going

Nice job !!!!!!! Skiparoo :D

It does look like the pipe was either backfilled wrong or
something heavy like a rock was over top of it.Spent some
years in the excavation business seen that happen alot.

Just be glad it wasn't yur sewer pipe

We had a concrete truck driver dump the excess concrete from
a porch the masons where doin right on top of a sewer line.
Got called back to the house after the new homeowner moved
in and complained about the toilet backing up.

Well when we found it ...... What a mess !!!! Pee U !!!

man i just got into this whole thread tonight but what a rollercoaster ride, whew, im whipped. i hooked my semi w/3000$ worth of hydraulics to my trailer and engaged the pump the first time and it looked like one o those golf course sprinklers, i went naw and looked in the mirror again and that hydraulic oil in the right sunlight has the nicest huew of blue. shut it down and what took 20 seconds to make took an hour to clean up. next try i moved it from the fancy storage complex where i keep it to a dead end road so i wouldn't spray down peoples hunerd thou motorhomes one try on the firstset of controls moved the rams some inches then pshchchist, phuck, wonder if it does it both directions, squirt, squirt. phuck. then pfhisttt, damn flexable hose with aeroquip type fittings starts squirtin. i need to learn how to do connections on aeroquip hose, tools? point being, get to the rumble and figure how to pay for it later! phun out. :D glat it worked for ya, but expect the worst, n hope for the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

parks a brand new 5 car "wally mo", i mean the paint where the tires sit isn't even wore off, man i soaked that thing good, i'm out there wipin up with everything i had in the truck hopin no body saw me, kickin sand all around to try and cover up whats on the ground, it even hit the motorhome on the otherside of him! the whole trailer is plumbed w/copper tubing like water lines, simple to cut n patch but the main supply lines are that regular rubber hydraulic w/braided steel, do those fittings have to be pressed or seems onetime somebody told me they screw together, o well, i'll figure it out. heck if it were easy everybody'd be doin it! thanks for letting me share. :p fun off to another day of city traffic (i like to think of it as combat missions!).    :(

Skip my drains at the house were slow to say the least. The plumbers put the wrong angle on the sewer line. Shot flows down hill. Well it was time for the annual mother in-law visit it took her all of 1/2 day. Wife flush tiolet it started overflowing I grab a plunger and send everything up the tub and shower. Its hopeless at this point shes clogged. 350 dollars the next day its open again but the plumber quoted 55 dollars a foot to replace. All it needs is a little digging and angle these guys are outrageous. I quess if you work in shot you get the bucks. See you at the Rumble, Rick $3080 was his price to relace
