the HIPO motors have the single ram trims.. Even in the mid 90's

That's an AMS (air management system). They came out before the SVS and are billet aluminum, but don't have the adjustable spacers or the idle vacuum adjustment of the current SVS. That's a Merc one inch spacer plate attached.
