June issue, Auto Engineering has several page article about GM (the factory) developing these 2 cars.

Still working on this one............he is still buying more parts........working on hood # three right now. One metal hood and metal scoop for running a nostatia class, on fiberglass hood to run another class... and one for the Hilborn Injection..........

A never ending thing....he was suppose to put it together, now he wants me too....oh boy:rolleyes:

Those two GM cars had a private test session at Edgewater ,here in Cincinnati,last year.

I had an invite to check them out.

They had a long haired blonde Female as the test driver too.

An Aussie mate of mine,Pete Burgin, was behind a big part of the project.

His base is in Indianapolis,Ind.

them wheelie bars on the front bumper kinda threw um for a loop at toll booths, but the future looks like this about it until the signiture "George Jetson" hover commute is perfected. ;) fun out.

Pretty amazing that they will only "sponsor" a Pro Stock car, but will "build/support" front drive grociery getters!

The article said that one of the drivers was a woman.
They are running 2 classes with them, both turbocharged, one inter cooled, one not.
The cooled car is making around 700 HP's from 2+ liters :eek:
Still can't look at em with out laughing when you see the big slicks on the front and bike tires on the back!!:D
Set up almost excat oppositte of a rear drive car.
In one of the pictures you can see the battery and the fuel cell setting on the front wheels to aid traction.
