Who makes a Ipod dock. I what a plug and play unit. Where I can mount the dock in my boat and simply plug my Ipod up. I want a neat dock not something with a bunch of wires. Do they make such a thing?

You can have one hook up to your head unit. Its one wire. When I read around about an actual holding dock people said the ipod wasn't secure.

You can buy battery powered ones with built in speakers for cheap from walmart. if you have an aftermarket cd player in your boat the wire is the way to go. They had them on eBay at one point to plug into Clarion Marine head units.

look into the harmon-garmon system. you plug the ipod in and it has a display and joy stick to operate the ipod. the ipod can then stay safely in the glove box. heres a pic of the display on my car dash

B&W, has a brand new one that just received top honors at the trade show in Las Vegas. Looks real cool too!

Just put a jack in your dash or glovebox and run it directly to your amp.
