bad/goodnews about the vixen i bought!

hey,

i asked alot of questions lately and just this sat. i really got pissed!

bad news:
we finally put the boat in the water and started up just fine..except for a knocking noise. so since my uncle was a high per. boat macanic he was checking it out. then he says "shut the engine off a sec" im like aight no biggie. he grabs the flywheel and MOVES IT UP AND DOWN! "blown bearing" he says. i was soo pissed b/c now i gotta rip the engine apart and repair the damn thing, after the seller on ebay said it was good to go(hes getting a call soon!)

good news:
well my other unlce herd about this and said he felt soo bad for me. that night ne asked my dad if it was ok that he GIVES me his old 1977 ( i think) evindude 70hp engine!!! my dad ok'd it and now were gonna go pick it up sometime this week. the engines got power trim which is sweet also!

well that was my weekend. lol btw the tyson fight was AMAZING!!!

the one the guy sold to me witht eh boat saying "theres nothing at all wrong with it its good to go" is a 1978 merc 40hp. other then the bearing its a great motor though lol
