Did a Christmas eve cruise today

I went to work today and worked about 1/2 hour. Then I said screw it, let's go boatin! We took a new 21 Liberator out and ran over 70 miles. Temp was mid 60's. We went north on the St Johns River and into Silver Glen Springs. Notice hoe clear the water is. There was only one pontoon boat in there. It was gettin late when we left, so even though it's a 30mph speed limit, we ran 75-95 for 30 miles home. Man did we have fun! Here's a few pics.

NICE,I only wish I could afford one of your boats.Too many kids at this time.:) You have very nice boats and The pics of the water looks like a great time.Too cold here.

Very nice...went for a Christmas Eve ride myself today, but looks like yours was more fun! You were cruising faster than my boat goes, and I even set a new personal best today at 70.8, lol! I had upper 30 degree weather, but at least I got out! That was my Christmas present to myself. I think I'm gonna move to the southeast somewhere when I get out of the navy, haha! Bah...and I'm heading home to Ohio for a couple weeks at the end of the week here...I tell you what, the winter I spent in Charleston, SC and the winter I spent in Kings Bay, GA really made me soft...I miss the south, haha!

what about Mayport? atlantic beach is about as prime real estate as it gets in fla. Jax has 2 naval complexes, nas and mayport, lots of succesful retirees here. fun out

Not much for a nuke on shore duty there tho. That, and they already sent me to a 4 month school for what I'm doing now, so I'll be here till I get out, April 3rd, 2010, not that I'm counting tho...lol!
