Any idea on cost to have a boat (19' outboard) towed from the Jacksonville FL area to the NY/NJ area. Any good companies?

Depends on when you want it to go.Now is the time to ship north since everything is comming south. Either that or wait for a member here to take a trip north and offer a hitch.

Try uship.com I had a viper brought from Ill to Long Island cost me 900. it would have been more in fuel to go and get it.

Be careful with U-ship. I had an outboard transported from NJ to Las Vegas - No problem. Trailer from Ill to Las Vegas - 4 months and lots of lost $$$.... No feedback = No deal from me....

If all goes well, I will be looking to transport anytime during the month of May. Thus far $1,450 to low-boy it what another boat to Maine. I was thinking of NY or NJ to reduce the transport but the $1450 was door to door. Dont really want to do a round trip the FL

pm me the details I'm running to Fla and could get it alot closer than that...I have run more than one board members boat up and down the east coast..so it not a problem if you want references....I dragged mine from Ft Myers left here on monday morning boat was in my driveway wednesday afternoon.......
IF YOU FILL IN YOUR LOCATION UNDER USER CP.......I/we would know where you wanted the boat to go and what kind of boat is it???

still, if you can get a private indavidual to do it, heck it may just be his fuel cost, but to do everything required by the GOVERMENT, like have ins. i must look for a profit. it costs me a grand to fill my truck up, which lasts 2 days. and ins at a grand a month, i'm eather into a "nifty little hobby" or a biz. good luck. fun out :D
