Looks like Speed has picked up the Champ Boat season after the last couple weeks both having telivised races so expect them same time for next few weeks.

Champ is on at 11:00 AM EST followed by IHBA at 11:30 AM EST.

For the IHBA races, they're not running the same race two weeks in a row, the first week is Top Fuel and Pro Mod then the second week is Top Alcohol Hydro and Top Alcohol Flat at each given race. I thought they were running the same race two weeks in a row so I missed the Alcohol boats the first go 'round.

The Fuel boats haven't put on much of a show through the first two races. One pass went 263 and there were a couple of 250s in there, but they break WAY more than they don't. Hopefully we'll see some good side by side passes - they're un-friggin-believable when you see two 240+ passes side by side!

They've been playing with the outrigger boats for a few years. They just haven't been able to get them to run as fast as the hydros, but they're getting there.

i do think there is a future with them but more into the hydrofoil design
i would like to see some kind of hydrofoil trim tab or somthing and the whole boat is air born and only the trim tab and prop are in the water
