Just thinking everyone is gravitated it seems to either drag or top end and wondering about what pitch you run and Rpms

How do you choose a pitch for your race boat?

I run 18-pitch form 9 1/2 to 10 1/4 inch diameter for short course racing. That’s up to 1 mile. Long course, Parker Enduro, I run a 20 or 21 by 10-inch diameter. Keep in mind I am running 1 to 1 Speedmaster. I chose by how much exhilaration vs. top speed I need for the competition, water conditions what the turns are set up like.
