I am planning to buy a stv>
how does it handle in 1 foot waves.
the river I use gets a little choppy in the afternoon or the wind picks up out of the east.
also back wash in narrow areas.

this is about 1' chop, maybe a bit more. Does not necessarily look like it, but when we got to lake george everyone else laid up and I took off chasing driver in his big FTP cat. this is on the way back.

BTW, it is a stv euro.

I have a Pro Comp STV and it does well in a chop of 1 foot or less. Too hard on it if waves are any larger. They are great handling boats.

Boat will go across it well once you get on top of it. Boat will begin to show signs of the beating after a while. I would not subject it to it too often. They are well built, but they can only take so much.

I agree with Eddie the most. I guess it depends on how long you
want your boat to stay nice. They will take a beating till they break.

Sorry Helmut, could never get that elusive mid 120's with the
300x. But on the good side, while you're rebuilding every year
out in the cold garage, the new owner is sitting by the fire place
drinking cold ones. See you sometime Saturday. Drive safe.

Hey, I'm either following Mongiovi's lead and getting a pool or
maybe something like this:http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=139016&d=1195700639

It's going to depend on how much we get into this motocross racing thing for the boy. Only have so much time on the weekends.
