What are the 2 big hoses going into the cowl on some of your boats. What do they do and are they need. Looks cool.

Eddie marine. They have a kit w/ 6ft of hose and the 2 billit ends, powdercoating available. Other places carry the kit but Eddie had the best price.
I agree they look great!

It is called rigging hose. I got mine from Stainless Marine. May or may not be less expensive than Eddie, but I believe it was less expensive when I bought it.

Eddie's is NOT the least expensive. Rickracer's is. On almost
anything......
175checkmate, they look cool and people ask all the time what they are. But, just my way of looking at thing's It would look much better with a braided sleeve over it. Mine only has the 2 vac. hose's and I think it look's funny....

Anyone have a good idea how to transition the tubes into the stock Merc clamshell cowling?
There is a square hole now that is way too small to stuff them into and not enough surface area to bolt the aluminium ends to. HELP!!!!!!!!!

think, 'Hole Saw, CAREFULLY! Tape the edges so not to chip the paint... I dunno, be creative, it'll look like hell with the round tube in the square hole! :D
for dem hoses.....................
Clean it up with some cable ties/zip ties/wire tires what ever you guys call them. Neatens up them cables hoses a little. Them fat hoses can be made to look good. I ain't gonna use them cuz they hide them pretty braided lines and that "Fat" fuel filter.
