Just happened upon this, they are $25 each but this place has some nice LED lighting for marine and home/etc. Very low power draw. Don't know a thing about the place except its in Canada.

Flexible line LEDs, these are pretty cool. Could do some wild custom mounting with these. Imagine your boat name/etc it would be like a mini neon sign, or do some trim with them. http://www.electronicproducts.com/ShowPage.asp?Filename=hlap08.oct2006.html

I purchased a kit in red and white for my boat. They hook right up to the existing wiring for the lights. Require nothing special to make them work.
