Lower unit cooling!

Just wondering who is gonna be the first to come out with a device to measure lower unit oil temp on a Merc, or is there something out there I don't know about. What about a shower for the lower, is this something that is needed, or I'm I just talking to much. OK I'll go away.:D

the lower has cooling all around it. would be hard to cool it better than the body of water it's traveling through

I think somebody already has a temp for the lower unit oil. Either Rapair or Gafferg has on that the probe goes in the shift shaft opening they have different addapters for each brand of motor merc,Omc and yamaha. Maybe someone with a better memory than mine will remember who it is that has them.

Gaffrig has a temp sensor for Merc Drives, and CDI has a 4 function unit (Oil level + temp, water ,and metal particles) for OMCs and Yammies. Email for more details. :D
