The first lap or two he seems to be keeping the flaps shut for lift exiting the corners. Mid race seems to only close them a bit at the exits. Last lap he looks more agressive?

Serious stones are required to run an unlimited !! Imagine what it takes to run up front !! don't forget they're going 200 plus on the straightaways !:eek:

I've seen the unlimiteds run several times on the Detroit river over the years. It's even worse there, as the water is usually far rougher than those boats are meant to be driven in.

Great spectacle, even in the years when one boat was way faster than the rest.

Use to go watch the Unlimited races in Madision Ind. years ago when you could still pull your boat up on the sidelines and watch. Always pulled for the small town Boat, Miss Madison with her big Allison powered engine trying to run with the turbines.

Always amazed me how they would Duck tape one of them boats back together and keep on raceing. That Duck Tape is some strong chit !!!:D

i got there phone number and have talked with several of them several times nice guys fame didn't change them at all

they won one this year i forget which race but they got one and it was a big one
i want to say up Missouri way or it was seattle
