About 5 years ago I bought a rebel raker hubbed for a v-4(13 spline) the barrel was bigger than a v-4 but smaller than a v-6. Can I get it rehubbed and use it on a v-6? Some of the exhaust will go around the barrel and not through it. It has some really good rake and it is going to waist. Thanks Rick

I've not heard of it done with a Raker, but guys have done it with a Merc Laser, and say it works well. I guess it depends on the application, if your putting too much exhaust over the outside of the hub, you would have to fab something to block off the exhaust. It may not have enough bite to get out of the hole well.

What type of boat are you putting it on.

I think I have a very simialr question if I understand his correctly. I am looking for more Rake on a prop, friend has a Lazer II that was for his Merc 75 and the barrel is much smaller than my V6 200. It has the flo torque hub but can I try this prop with the correct hub. I find it hard to believe it would work with the different barrel size.

If you are looking for more bowlift, a Tempest or Trophy would be a better choice than a Laser. Even pitch Lasers are small hub, odd pitch Lasers fit the standard V6 gearcase.

if your looking for a prop on yer boat pictured go for a tempest or a revolution 4........ they are big diameter and designed to lift larger hulls..
