Thinking of replacing my rapid jack with a Bobs. I need to be able to raise the motor higher to get over some shallow spots in my canal.

How do these plates hold up, what maintenance is required for them.

Does anyone have a used one they might want to sell?

Other than having to replace my slide bearings once, mine has worked for years!!!!!

Best dang plate made. I've had five of them on five different boats. Never had a failure. They are the lightest, fastest and have the most travel. And don't fall for that Detwiler crap about having a separate pump. I like having my pump in my boat out of the water. Easy to keep topped off and maintain.

The Bob's 10" flats jack is the best buy on the market. I've got a set of their two inch spacers holding up my 300XS but I'm adding another 2" for a total of 14". I'm totally confident with my BM jack.

I bought one new and had it for about 4 years (trouble free). Ditched it for a Rapid-jack because I didn't really need the adjustability of a hydraulic. The Bobs hoses were/are ****ty and the wiring was a little light duty, otherwise a good system.

i didnt have any problems with the plates and i am constantly adjusting the engine heights . i would recommend them for sure
