I wish I knew . Anyone that knows please let us know. K-dawg where are you from? Im from Alabama just across the state line from Carrolton Ga. Were always interested in meeting new boaters and are in the process of getting a west Ga and east Al hot boat club going.

Circle racing kneeldown hydros and runabouts, OPC tunnel hulls and Super Light inflateable Tunnels. The fastest boats will be in the 125 mph range.

Should be lots of good racing ... too bad it is too far for me from central MD:(

Would the 120 mph boats be SST 120's? Running 2.0 mercs?

Yeah, probably ... the 500cc and 700cc hydros will run that fast too

1/4 the motor size, same speed :)

I just got back from this race. There 4 boats in the SS class (stock 150 hp) no inflateables, 500 & 700cc hydros, about 6 SST 45's, 5 or so SST60's, and 4 SST120's, circle racing kneeldown hydros and runabouts.

I will be there agian tomorrow also. I am just a spectator to the circle events, but it is worth the 1 hr drive to me by far. If you don't have much going on it may be worth it. Beats sittin round the house doin nothin'!

I heard they had a much larger than expected turnout of racers - only ran 3/4 of Saturday's schedule ... Sunday will be very busy :)

I was not aware. I left about 20 min before it got dark. I watched the last round of the 500/700's. The small boats were hitting the water agin on my way out. Pits were VERY full though. I noticed VA, NC, NY, MA, OH, MI and PENN tags on the tow vehicles, so they came from all over!

My Aunt and Uncle live about 4 miles from Lake Grace I think I will check it out tomorrow. What time does it start?

It was from 12-6 today...but it carried over until dark for the most part. Were do they live. I am from that area originally myself. I live outside of Statesboro about 1 1/2 hr from you.

Here is the info from the Race Circular:
Registration Saturday, Oct. 27 - in Pits - 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 - in Pits - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Drivers Meeting Saturday & Sunday: Immediately following registration

I guess that means racing starting around 10 or 11. Many APBA races don't start until noon on Sunday ... in the old days it was so racers and their families could go to church before a race ... now it is so they don't make noise near local churches :D

I heard there were 9 Formula E hydros and a bunch of D Modified hydros ... very noisy :)

I know most of the faster class designations but not all. I did not know what type of boats those were with the megaphone and/or 3' expansion chambers but the were very fast and extremely loud.

They live right off of Nine Run Road. About 3 miles outside of Screven. I also have family that lives in Brooklet.

The guy who fell out of the small runabout appears to be a friend of mine, Bill Walker of Florida: retired aeronautical engineer, about 70 years young
