Tampa Area RC Boat Race

In case anyone is interested there is a two day RC boat Race in Dover, Fl ' which is located South on Mc' Intosh Rd exit off I - 4 just west of Plant City . All Nitro and Gas classes will be run except open Hydro . Lots of action ,stuff for sale and a good time . Top level Racers from all over Fl. are participating , i'm running 4 boats so I should be thrashing all day !! Anyone interested can call me for directions or head south from I 4 on Mc Intosh rd to MLK go left 1 block and look for the park that has the lake inside it . 727-457-8253

Back in the mid 90's I was real serious with IMPBA. Mostly big riggers. Played with some other classes to fill the time between F hydro heats. Was close with a guy named Andy Brown and ran twin 90 mongoose till he designed the Eagles and I had the first single40, 90, and the first twin 90 Eagle ever built. I was big with Pico 90 Hydro motors back then. I still have a couple of small riggers in the rafters somewhere. Ray
