ECDBA at Lake Tabor Taborcity N.C.

The ECDBA will be having its final race of the year at Lake Tabor in Taborcity N.C. on sun Oct 28 2007. Lake will be open to racers for testing on sat the 27 after 1.00 pm until dark . Bring own fuel for sat testing , were also planning a cookout for all the racers and families on sat. All classes as odba , plus the dragking class. Crane truck may be onsite sat for weighing boats. Ray we had enough to run pro gas last time, I think we had 6 boats and Wally from Triad boats won that class. We have had about 8 to 10 boats in lake racer, several in pro carb and the riverracer class. Looks like we may have a few more in all classes because a lot of guys from this area have bought new boats, and this will be there 1st race with there new rigs. The club uses the same rules and classes as ODBA so there shouldnt be a big setup change . Drag King was a class invented to draw some new people, no tech on motor and no weight limit no lower unit limit, just no nos, must buy fuel and oil at race site is all we ask.

Bring all the boats you can , so we can gang up on Joe

Chris, thats great, come as early as u can sun so we can go over everthing with u guys and get u teched in , and work out the days schedule, looks like were gonna have more boats than ever so we will need to be on time with all classes, so every one can race. Thanks to everyone who came this weekend, had almost 40 entries. Good racing in every class, some photo finishes in almost every class.Drag king class guys pulled some 115 to 120 mph passes. Congrats to Jason Smith on his 1st win in ss, Shane S ( drag king,) Joe (JPHIL) procarb, Lee Sanderson in Supercomp. Also to all the guys that this was your 1st race you all did a great job, Barnes, Miller, Wellons, Richardson, and Lunsford. :D Jeff

The second pic.is my brother this was his very first race, then he ran in super stock and put it on me, he was nervous was wanting me or our brother in law to drive but once he got out there he did great. I've got my work cut out to get ahead of him :-)
Third pic. is my little friend Allen they call him Minney-me, this was his first race also and he also did a great job.

Glad you enjoyed them Lee. I got there too late to race with you so I took picture and enjoyed the races :) , then decided to race in S. S. Had fun but didn't have anything for Jason and Woody, boat too heavy and not enough HP :rolleyes: but enjoyed it anyway, it was fun racing with my brother. We use to race top end together along with Charlie our brother in law, so it seemed like old times.
