I own a 115 optimax v6 engine, model 2000 and I would like to convert it to 135hp, in mi knowledge only the ecm and a lever are dierent, so can it be done, or how can I make it a bit more powerful.
The US versions of the 115 optimax are 3 cyls, so not sure you will get a good answer?

it was made for two years I believe and pretty much a detuned overweight turd. If you have the patience to weed through the parts catalog it can be determined what it takes, but I would'nt be surprised if it is just the ecm and throttle linkage piece.
Never knew such a creature existed

Hell I'd go for 150 if at all possible, the 135's were'nt stellar for anything other than fuel milage either.
is it a 2.0 or 2.5 ?

It is a 2.5 liter 6cyl.

2.5 115 hp???? what a waste.. im sure you can swap parts out from a 135 or even a 150... if i were you i would just swap out the powerhead
