I have a set of carbs from a 1997 2.0L 150.. And well my question is how do I redjust them to run on a 2.5L 200 engine?? I crossed the part number for the carbs and I see that, that same part number of carb is used on both engine's...

Or should I just use a set of 2.4 carbs that I have here..

I guess I should have said is there anything other then jets that I need to change to use these carbs?

even if they are both 33mm bore, I would go with the 2.4 carbs just to be sure, but you also need to check the throttle plates to see if you have two air holes in the top of the butterflies, or three. the two hole version has better low end due to the ability to advance the idle timing. a set of 2.5 carbs are even better, as they allow idle timing to be increased even further to 4 atdc, and are also a three circuit carb, verses a two circuit.

But bore time to do it...The 2.5 style carbs have more adjustment capibilities...Jets ever where!!! The 150 and the 200's are one in the same carbs, jus having diffrent jet sizes...If U put the same jets az the 200 cum wit , then U have a 200 carb...I can't remember exactly what the jets were, but I no the mains were 66's...Your local dealer can tell U exactly what it takes, if they will take the time...I think the 2.5 style works better on the 2.5's than the 2.4's do...wh-20's may have a lil edge on the 2.5's for all out performance, but for fuel economy, the 20's really suck...Jus My opinion, an az U no, we all got one!!REX:cool:
