One nice day. Finally got my drag on my HST. After 3 hours of dinking around I get to haul off a dozen passes or so. Not bad, at all, boat is handling beautiful, the motor I don't have enough to say about...absolutley AWSOME!!!!!!!! What is 8300 with a 32? 1.87 gears, no matter, my neck is so sore from trying to keep my chin down with that helmet on. Last pass boat has a great set so I keep my foot in it for about a half mile past my pre-ran debris free zone. Well 115 over 2 budweiser bottles, a half-full apple pucker bottle and a big chunk of charred firewood. I now have about $3000 dollars worth of fiberglass and gelcoat repairs, a sportsmaster with a nice chunk out of it and what was once a beautifull 32 lab cleaver with 1/3 of a blade missing. This was out in front of a campsite with a bunch of puke-ass kids seeing how far they could throw ****. It was like driving though a dumpsite. My heart sank pretty far as I saw all that blur under my bow. I still don't have any words to describe how pissed off I am. Looks like I'm back in my viper untill next year.

Was hanging out at the sand hill, a guy came up to me and we b.s.'d for awhile he asked how much it weighed and I picked the front end up to my chin, he kinda freaked! Mid michigan fiberglass is doing the work this winter, I'm taking it down today so he can patch it up so I can use it for the rest of the year. He's gonna re-clear the whole thing and throw some red flake in as well. I still had plenty more pedal to go and the motor was pulling it's ass off yet. If I ever see that group of kids there again LOOK OUT! I know what they look like, what they drive, and a friend who works at the park is going to keep me informed if they come back this summer. 2 years of work on that motor, MANY $$$$ spent and screwed up a nice hull, not really the way I wanted to end my weekend. Of course then we have the complete assinine acts of the jet boaters who think they can pump all of that oily slop that collects in those pile of **** bilges out into the water at anytime. I don't like squealers, but that is TOTALLY uncalled for.

Jet boaters
Hi Capt-
I had a 24' Sleekraft powered with a $55 Olds and a Jacuzzi pump. I don't recall any problem with a dirty/oily bilge. I don't remember seeing any dirty stuff un the rest of our jet boat group.
That was 10 years ago. Has there been a change to cause the problem??
Just curious
Thanks
