FYI... this is the first time in years that I've seen Evinrude and Johnson outboards publicly acknowledge anyones accomplishments in boat racing. The company is still technically in the start-up phase of production and distribution,and are "looking closely" at many forms of advertiseing and promotion.
this news release is a clear sign of a company that can someday
play a major part in the performance outboard and outboard racing world... did anybody notice the big "Bombardier" logo on top of the scoreboard at this years Indy 500 ???

Get them people to start making parts that fit the motors, and include ALL of the pieces on the parts that are supposed to be there. Jesus I spent most of the week scrambling around fabbing little thing up so I could get customers jonnycraps back to them. It's also nice when the online parts book contains ALL of the little parts and pieces that are supposed to be there............:rolleyes:

when I mentioned they're looking closley at many ways of
product promotion, super-sport product discount programs were on the list... so they are still looking at it, as are Mercury,and Yamaha Reps... these things always take time

Yes, I've seen Bombardier's name several places of late, that leads me to believe that they believe in RACING. Super Sport is in good hands with you at the HELM, Danny. Stay the course....I sure loved Peoria's race a few years ago, considered going just to watch...Maybe, Kankakee....

Try to beat SOMEONE, DANNY... I understand you are "BUILDING" a class, but you don't have to finish LAST... Save that place for some old man, like me!!!!

Did you know....

The head of Marketing at Bombardier Johnson/Evinrude is an ex-MOD-VP racer! He even used to run stock outboard too!!

So, I have no doubt we'll see more from Team Bombardier in the future.

Did you know that one of their Technical Writers is an ex ModVP racer too? :-) Also an ex EP driver and an ex SE driver....

Don't worry, us racers have infiltrated the company and are working from the ground up to push the initiative. It's still a little difficult because the overwhelming orders we've gotten, so the priorities are on filling customer/dealer orders - which we appreciate VERY MUCH!

what I will say is to Bombardier

"it's simple, the first thing you have to do is say "yes" as all of the SS drivers have done. The next thing you have to do is , let us do the work. If your CPA's are wondering what the returns will be,,, now that we have a history just take 5 mins and look at it and it will speak for itself."
