All this talk about the WH-nn series of carbs is confusing. Why don't they go by throat size. My 225Mariner has 32mm carb bores. I have a 200Suzuki that has 36mm bores. Has anyone ever bored a carb out and used larger butterfly's? I know the shape of the taper and size of the bore maximize both velocity and content, but is there some kind of formula or guide to refer to?
