I need some info on what is the easiest way to fix a cylinder. I have a 175 omc 95 mod 60 degree with 3 torn cylinders. I wonder if changing the sleeves is "easier" than sending in the block and have it borred? Do i need some spesial tools for resleeving?
where can i buy sleeves and pistons as a kit?
I think believe the oil pump must have broken down, causing this. Where can i get a new pump? or how do i test it?
I'm enclosing some pictures.
any help is good...

Get rid of that oil pump and start premixing.
If it is STD bore, boring it would be the best/cheapest option. Some sleeves you have to cut the ports in after you put them in.

bore it..... if 3 are messed up the other 3 are probably tapered... so ya would want to clean all 6 any how... take it first to .015 or the smallest over bore size that ya can get a set of pistons in and then if necessary go up on the next size if needed on the select cylinders that didnt clean up totally at the first over bore... if your good bores are straight just bore the ones that got messed up... just be sure to ballance your pistons after words to keep things from gettin to outa ballance
Bore it, as long as you can get oversized pistons.

I don't think this is a race motor. As long as he uses the same piston manufacture as the other three, the balance will be close enough.

none of my stuff is race mota either.. but everything is atleased balanced to 1 gram.... tey just run that much smoother.... and its easier on stuff to have the rotating weight the same...
