How do I go about disconnecting the oil injection unit on my 225 Pro Max. Does Mercury make a plug or whatever to close off the opening in the block?
Plans are to have the ECU re-programed for more RPM.

Thanks

What about the block-off plate? Are the screws you mentioned supposed to plug holes,or hold on the plate?
Thanks! Delta

the plate is the first part # i gave you.it is a plate with a shaft attached, if you just put a plate over the hole the potential for the bushing for the oil pump shaft comming loose is great,i would not advise just covering up the hole i,ve seen a bunch of torn up v - 6 mercs because of that.
