thanks, i was on playa hermosa but I'm now back in miami. when i was last in CR, mid 2004, i had traveled to tamarindo. there are some really nice places there.

Lets see some pics of the locals hangouts and town if you have any? CR is one of the places I am half kicking around moving to within a few years. i really dont have any NNT but the closest town to me was jaco [ha.co]. Jaco is pretty dirty physically and ethically(drugs, crime, toots). although this place is avoidable, it is convenient for day time banking and the occasional late night mixed martial arts cage match (a female round was scheduled but never occurred). as far as living in CR my personal opinion is to visit and search for yourself. there is an atlantic side too, as well as, five active volcanos and some major rivers.also, the higher the elevation the cooler it is . i enjoy surfing so i stay on the pacific side and havent traveled to all the great locations in CR. if you are to go i would suggest renting a home for a month (usually cheaper) and renting a car(taxis can get expensive. unless,of course, you would be only visiting for a short time.
