I just want to let you guys know not to buy anything from "lolmann" if they ever get on here and try to post anything again. I payed them for solid motor mounts and never heard from them again. The bank sent me a statement saying it had been cashed. They're from Jefferson City, Tn. That was in July. It's just a shame that there is people like that on a great site like this. I have never had any trouble buying & selling anything before most are great people to deal with.

Yes, you can hack the board to disallow multiple logins from the same IP, but that won't work, especially on a board this size. Many ISPs use dynamic IP addressing, and multiple legitimate users can have the same IP addresses. For a board this size, a simple IP check is not good enough in many cases, unfortunately.

He's in east Tennessee, calls Cherokee Lake his home lake, I read somewhere he worked at Bass Pro Shop, possibly in Jefferson City, but may have lost that job. The Ventura is for sale on BYB for a stupid high price, I didn't bother to warn anybody, because nobody would pay the kind of money he's asking anyway.

I got them off Ebay and never got them my self from the seller. I have been going round and round with him and they came today. He stated they were sent to<o:p></o:p>

Looks like that's a start.

As far as the multiple screen names/password issue, there's an easy way to get past that: Type in your screen name with an incorrect password. It'll go immediately to a link with a "forgot your password" option. The system will send you a new password with the instructions on how to log in with it and change it to whatever you want.

And if thats the Bob Im thinking it is...he is "FOS" and I thought a friend!! for the past 20yrs.. he rebuilt the motor on the Ventura..ask him if he had a problem getting his $$$ for the work he done on the motor.

Hey this if Jeff Owens (not Pete) who paid for the motor mounts which I paid for and the money order was cashed on Aug 7. If you had a problem, all you had to do was contact me and let me know and none of this would have been started. But when you cashed the money order and then never sent anything or made any contact with me and I couldn't contact you, what was I suppose to think??? I'd say in that situation you'd think the same thing I did. Just so there's no further mix up, here's my correct name and address.

All it would have taken was some kind of contact from you to have prevented all this uproar. When I got the receipt that the money order was cashed and then it was over a month and I hadn't heard from you or gotten the mounts I thought posting on here was my only other alternative. Hopefully I'll get the mounts soon and I'll post on here so everyone will know that you sent them and it was all just a big misunderstanding due to lack of communication from you.
