Hi all,
I bought a 1990 YT last year from this board and had the pleasure of rebuilding a 2.4 200. Engine runs fine, but I've got a tickle to move to a 2.5 245 carb motor that's at my mechanics shop.
I've got a CMC hyd. plate, trim and lift on the wheel, 25 Hi5, 26 chopper and a 28 on the way.
Anything I should be aware of - concerns with the 245 setup on this boat? Idea of speed I should expect?
It goes in for a hull healthcheck tomm. Price for it (rebuilt + my 2.4 seems reasonable at about half what I paid for the 2.4)
