hey guys have any of you ever taken a boat to lake x to tweak the motor and prop combination for your specific boat. will they do this?

A number of members here have been there, and had boats there, as a matter of fact, there's a huge thread going here about the old days at Lake X by people who used to work there. Lake X has closed recently as a test facility, replaced by the X Site in the Florida panhandle.
I highly recommend looking up the thread, very entertaining reading. Only a lucky few get to go, race teams, manufacturers, etc.
