Not sure where to post this but I need some quick advice on having a boat shipped.

I'm considering purchasing a boat in eastern Georgia and I'm in Utah. Its a 21 hull, outboard motor, and good trailer. Probably 26' total length. I estimate 2500 pounds. It is about a 2000 mile trip one way. The problem is I would need it picked up in about a WEEK!!!!

Has anyone done this before? Any recommendations on a shipping company? Any guesses on cost so I can factor this in to the total price --- maybe $2000?

I've been working to arrange shipping from MI to AZ all week. Go to UShip.com. I've gotten offers from $3,000 to $1100. I've researched them all & I'm going with a $1300 bid Because it will be on a truck, most or the bidders will just tow it. The timeframe shouldn't be a problem.
