It runs, sort of.

Fired up the merc for the first time. Did not run it for long, need to install the new water pump. Where are the carb jets on tis engine. I drained the bowles prior to start and made sure there was fresh gas. Sounds like the engine is only running on about 4 cylinders. It will run, oh yes it will run.

hhmmmm put fresh spark plugs in and also check to see if any of the carbs have a needle stuck open thats flooding check all ground wires for a solid connection

heres what the two different (vertical and horizontal) intakes look like so you know which one you have and i believe you have the one on the right, but check and be sure for the jetting purposes
