identify my nose cone - please

i have an alpha lower unit with an unknown type of nosecone. it has 2 holes above the bullet and none below. it has external water tube. anybody know what kind it is? is it any good?

Go to the Bob's Machine Shop page and look under factory installed nosecones. They have a few variations there. Their grassmaster has two holes above the point on the leading edge. I tried topost the pic for you here but failed:(. David

It sounds just like the Bob's cone that I have...I'm not sure, it may be called the grassmaster. I was convinced by someone to get that cone vs the normal one with the holes on the bottom....in hindsight I think I shoulda got the other one....anyways it you are running with a lot of positive trim, say for a heavy hull then this cone is good at picking up the water.
