2.5 tester

I asked for a tester here, like I used to have,but nobody would give it up. With available laptops that weren't available in 1992 when I started with 2.5's, is there software and cables available now for complete testing of these beasts? Is that the way to go?

I use the OTC 4000 with the Mercury cart. and harnesses ,worked great on all the engines so far for me for years...
