3 liter 300x sporty prob/?

Just came in from the lake,WHAT WOOOO. I see oil with a little blue grease coming out above and to the right of the vent screw.Whats the problem and how do I fix it?

We do a lot of shifting in and out of gear,while getting skiiers up.Could it be the shifter seal?

if it's coming out of the vent, drain it. its probably leaking water and
pushing the excess out. most likely the seal under the water pump.
buy one of wayne taylors billet ones with four seals for about 100
and it will take care of it. www.madefi.com same exact thing that
happened to mine. no more problems.

agree with dutch, but also it could easily be the shift haft seal, wayne taylor also makes a mod part to turn it into a 2 seal deal, I have got both and no more probs

Any special tools needed to do this?what tools do I need?About how long will it take a first timer? thanks

no special tool. maybe an hour once you have the case off. look on
parts express or ask wayne to send you the new gaskets for the
h2o pump. they will probably tear when you take it apart.
