Recently picked up a 87' 21' Cougar with a 87 Mod Vp. Its a carb motor. Been wrestling a little with the carbs (floats sticking and such). Was wondering how hard it would be to make it a EFI. There is a 97' Bridgeport block with all elect and efi in the misc. now. What would I need to do to make this work. Do I need to change the front half? Any suggestions? Ray

Injectors mount in the front half so it will need changing to run the BP stuff. We make a plate to mount the injectors in front of the reeds but if you can get a front half, it's likely more cost effective. You'll also need a reed plate, air horn, injectors fuel rail, regulator,ECU, fuel pump and linkage. We have those for $100.00- $250.00. See all our products at www.eagleoneperformance.com

Put a Laser EFI System on it and get a good ECU. I've been told a Digitial Programable ECU with an A4 program will work as well as a Bridgeport ECU.
