Hey, not sure where to post this thread considering it has nothing to do with boating but if theres any headphone buffs out there- I'd truly appriciate some help. I'm leaving for college in 6 days and i need a pair of headphones. Im looking to spend around $225 and i've come up with these two headphones. I have a price of $249 right now for each which is fine. My question is which one is better:confused::confused:
Currently, its between the Beyerdynamic DT880 and the Pioneer SE-DIR800C. Any and all help will be greatly appriciated :)

Thanks,
Jay

I'm no pro but if you havn't ever tried a pair, try noice canceling headphones. For roadtrips and flights I absolutely love mine. If you do try some don't just turn them off and on, actually put a signal through them.

Yea, when I bragged (on this site) about how good my Bose and Sony Head phones sounded, several told me they were JUNK, and sent me to that site.

I found out its nothing to pay $3000 for a pair.

I think the most I have seen "cans" go for was $11,000:eek: thats just wrong......my ears aren't worth that much !

Oh, good choice with the Seinhiser's.......(how much were they?)

I Prefer closed head phones too.

I jam all day at work when doing Auto Cad and Solid Works on the computer, and I want the music to stay in my ears, and not bleed out into the rest of the office.

They were priced at $200 but the guy let me have em for 180. Good deal i think. I searched all over and they was by far the lowest quote i got :)

...or your nearest local independently owned music store, if there's one still there.
