Heading out Saturday for the annual trek to Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas for the Memorial week. Been going down there for the last 4 years. Not much there in the way of performance boats except for a local group of squirt boats. They make a bunch of noise but never come out to try their hardware against the ole MERC. Does anyone boat on that lake? If so let me know - maybe we can hook up. We hang out in Thompsons Cove when not running around. :D

It's about 600 miles from my house in Montgomery - about 12 hrs with stops.

Will be out on the lake on Sunday & Monday & the rest of the week as well. What kind of boat are running - I'll keep an eye out for you. We stay in Fairfield Bay - will probably be in Thompsons Cove when not running around. Where on the lake do you usually hang out at? :D

usually around the Narrows or across from Eden Isle, where exactly is Thompsons Cove? I'll be running a red and black Allison 2002 with Merc power of course:D

Thompsons Cove is about 3-4 miles west of Sugar Loaf Mountain on the north side of the lake. There is an island just east of the entrance to the cove. I've got a red & white RAPID CRAFT RIOT - I'll be with some friends who have a 180 SeaRay.
I know where Shiloh is - we sometimes go down by the dam in the cove across from the beach. We are down for the whole week - will keep an eye out for you. ;)

That dam has some huge catfish playing on the bottom. Also nice trout there. I used to dive it in the late 70's. Nice clear cool water. Have fun and be careful

Just got back from Greers Ferry Lake - didn't see you - did you get out on the lake? We went thru the narrows and ran around the Shiloh area on Memorial Day but I didn't see you. Had a great week on the lake - sorry we didn't connect.
