Johnson Coil Replacement

How do you remove coil wire from connector on Johnson V-6. Manual calls for special tool 322697 and 322698 pin remover and socket remover. Have cracked coil and do not want to wait a week for special tool. Been a Merc guy for the past 10 years or so, do not remember a thing about Johnsons.

I usually pull it ou by hand, then use a small pick to push it in. A little rubbing alcohol will make it slip right in.
