I know I'm going to get ***** for this one but I'm sure more than a few S&F'ers like to read. It might be nice to have a place to share thoughts on Books,Authors Etc.

I'm 3/4 through "Life of Pi" which started of a little slow but it's a very interesting Book that gets the Clean seal of approval. Nick, you should give it a try,I think you'd like it.

The Magic of Obelisks by Peter Tompkins i just finished now I'm starting

A History of Language by Steven Roger Fischer

the Magic of Obelisks was more of a persecution of pagans during the middle ages while following the history of obelisks and a bit of engineering
and free masons the reason why i read this book
was because of the book The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird which was quite an eye opener to say the least although i would recommend being aware of what is opinion and fact while indulging in a fascinating read. amazon . com has used books for sale although im sure you quite aware

If you wanna read something really interesting try A History of the Arab Peoples by Albert Hourani. It's about 15 years old, but pretty much nails raghead thinking. It covers about 13 centuries of their history.

ROFLMAO... I knew you would see that one. He was on one of the news shows a few days ago, and he nailed them spot-on.

I read. Are you talking about a new section or post up on a perpetual thread?

I figured I'd run it up the flagpole and see what Greg thought. Either way is cool. Anyone as big of a "Animal Farm" fan as me?

Well written, insightful and entertaining. He goes undercover and takes on Washington,9-11 truthers and Christian fundamentalists. Left or right it's a good read but thumpers and conspiracy nuts wont like it.
