I don't know much about 'em. How would I know a "looper" from a "crossflow"?

The flows have aluminum carbs and a removeable exhaust chest on the back of the block.
The loopers have pastic carbs, and the exhaust chest is part of the block.
The V-6 flows stopped in '86, the loopers started in '87.
'87 and 8 loopers (V-6) were 2.7 liter then went to 3.

not all the flows ended in '86.for example;the 175 went on 'till at least '91.
not trying to step on any toes!:D
