recently purchased boat, at 69-70 then progressively worse. 6in man. jack plate, approx. 1.5 below pad. xp 200 evinrude, renegade 4-blade 13.5-25in, 57-5800 rpm. i'm sure the prop isn't helping matters, just looking for the main problem. thanks

yea, my steering isn't to bad since i've adjusted some slop out. my steering swivel tube has major slop to it. probably motor mounts also. i took it out this evening and managed to get 74 out of it @5900 with considerably less trim. very flat attack angle. those last 3-4 mph came very slowly, like close to 1/2 mile with trim staying the same? motor issue, i don't know. c/l of prop is around 1.5 below pad, which is as high as i can go, without lifting motor on manual jackplate. then i wouldn't be able to take off. who sells a good hyd. jackplate? thanks

its a lot like my voyager you need to get almost even to elimate the walk. i like the para lifts, but my son has a bobs with a guage. i like the guage and its accruate and repeatable.
