On my BP's, the coolant dumps have been modified.
The Heads have seperate dumps and the Poppet Valve Block Off plate has the dump blocked off.
Is this common? and what are the advantages or disadvantages of this set up?

They are higher rpm idleing motors and so they dont need the poppit.

Have ya got tha one piece adapter? Thats just a choice someone made. I've never really seen any difference in tha way it operates(coolin'). If ya look at this way, do it like tha factory hot rods with a discharge on tha cover, one discharge off tha heads and ya know its right............T
Tha only reason I can see for blockin' it off would be if it has a 2 piece adapter with a poppit installed.
