Don't know the answer, but "combines with water" usually means it's mostly alcohol

The tech rep said that the product uses an enzyme to do the work nothing toxic?

i have used that stuff and i can say it dosent work. by the way i used to be one of the behind the sceens mechanics on that show ship shape tv. most of the stuff you see in that show is to promote the product and even if it dosent work they still make it look like it dose just because the sponsor is paying for air time.

yep i was one of the guys applying that stuff. it was ajoke and only fooled the camera. while i was there i saw a lot of that socalled tv majic. it was called poly glow. i used the startron stuff in my own boat and i still had water in my fuel and the fuel wasnt really condtioned like it would be if i used a normal fuel additive.when it was brought to us [before making that show] i was picking it appart in a meeting and got in trubble for it. i was told that we were using the stuff and to keep my opinions to myself since they were gona be a sponsor. they were calling it a mechanic in the bottle, and saying that it will keep people from having to have costly fuel system bills from fuel problems or fuel going bad. we were gona do the infomercial[tv show] nomatter what. that had a lot to do with me nolonger working there.
