The local police here in Ca. said they sent a sherif by the house in Ar. and the lady at the door told them the guy that has the boat moved to Tenn.So they are now try to find his new Address.The problem is it not there highs priority

Only a handful of silverwings out there, probably less than 10 not on the west coast. Any wing seen should be checked.

The boat was last reg. to a Michael D & Linda S Thomson 16770 Heritage Bay Rd. Rodgers Ar.72756. last known hull #s were AR060015Y Same vin # as when it was mine SVXST001H393.I have no way of knowing how they got the boat.The boat was stolen 10/20/98 in Buena Park Ca. and is reported in that town Case # 07-05788 with the BPPD any info would be great.I think I got my hopes up a couple week ago but back to a dead end

Also I went on zillow.com and from the air pictures you can see a blue & white boat with a V8 outboard in the boat house cant tell when the pictures were taken but I had some one take there boat by there and there is no boat in that stall any more.Also it looks like the coaple has got a divorse and he doesnt live there no more.The phone # is unlisted so if any one know how to to track some one let me know

One other thing when you reg. a boat in Ar. is that it or is it bi yearly or every year like Ca.

Have you talked to any P.I.'s ? Have worked with a couple in the past (retired now) amazing what they can track down and things like this aren't tough for a good one.

Hydro just talked to a couple police dep. they all said they would get back to me.The AR060015Y is not the Ar. boat # it is some sort of ID number so the Vin is all I have.Sure like to get this guy driver Lic # Thank 4 the help

Check with the county's that those suspect towns are in that's where it would have been registered from 1-3 years at a time.

Since it's been taken across state lines shoudn't you be talking to the Feds or Coast Guard, seems to me to be a federal case.

Just had TWRA run the hull # and it is not registered in TN under that hull #

How Does Ar.boat Registration work Do you have to reg every year.Ran Another Ck On the boat and its still reg to the same people but from 07/05

Arkansas registration is good for 3 yrs

This kind of thing happens all the time here in miami, 6 months ago someone stole a freinds boat from his backyard, two weeks ago we saw him at the ramp and wrote his tag down. boat ended getting recovered thief (Police Academy Student!!!)turned himself in. So have you talked to a PI yet? sure they could find with info you allready have. And how could it be rereged with same hull#?? if you reported it stolen woudn't it be in data base?

That what I wounted to know.The police said boat reports only went to neighboring states.and i have A PI on it know there is some thing that my come out in the future if I get the boat back

All they have to do is get a title to a boat similar length, then just put the vin# on the new boat. unless the cops can recognize the boat the theives have no problems!

I'm pretty sure that when a vin# gets reported stolen it goes into a database, I would be pretty sure the theives changed the vin#'s

The police told me that back in 98 boats were only reported to neighoring states im in Ca.and after 5 year the boat was purged for the system when I went looking for it a mounth ago It was updated and now the system is nation wide so the Vin# numbers came up. Its posable they bought the boat from some one and just tryed to reg it and it work but we will see real soon
