You sure can hear that V-8 sound. I am around 5"10 and weigh close to 220. I stood behind one and I disappeared. Really hard to describe how enormous these motors are until you are next to one. I wonder how long it will take before Merc and the others decide to build one. They are definitely in demand especially here in south FLA where the big 4 stroke V-6's are standard on a lot of the mid-sized offshore fishing rigs.ffice:office" /><O:p></O:p>

Is it me or are these things really loud? In a market where noise is a huge selling factor I can't see how this is a good thing. :confused:

That's awesome, can't wait for the E-Tecs or even the Suzukis to deliver V-8's with some serious power. Until then I stick to my good ole OMC's...
