I think the site owner has lost the plot, i guess he could have said
"its my bat and my ball and I'm going home"
Maybe some one in England could pick up from where he left off....

I'm sure If Jon wants to comment he will, But rumor control is now off and running. Will it wont it be back. A number of the members are popping up on pontoontalk.co.uk & the rib.net forum.
It is only guesswork as to the reason and it's very easy to jump to conclusions.
But I do feel quite guilty as a few of my posts may or may not have chucked petrol on to what was a burning fire.
Wooofffffffffffffff .................. there goes my eyebrows

Tutt-Tutt-Tutt BluFin.
You can't take the full Monty, others must have stoked the fire. I guess it was a gradual build-up of "crape" that tipped the balance.
Realy a shame, Boatman was the best/only UK boat performance site.
Jon, you done well mate. Thanks for everything.
Please come back soon.

Or that the mods themselves got into the BS themselves with their both feet sometimes...and got stuck in it IMO.
Or the forum site got hacked... who knows only time will tell ?

I think youīll love then seeing pics of a brand new Twister 24 cat that weīre going to test this week...racing in offshore 3C.

Nice boat the Twister. If I was going racing again that would be first on my shopping list. Micky are they still without a web site/presence.
Think they are far more capable than the hotboat

Now you are far too nice.;) I have wished it often for one of my race competitors!
However, JF is well( was not physically ill at any time ), and Boatmad is up and running again.

Schedule is a bit late...force majoure...
Had to repair a 454 for a Baja24 outlaw (which became the fastest small boat in the Poker Run in Hanko as a result...) as the former "reputable marine engine" builder wasnīt allowed to touch the engine anymore.
The valvetrain was a total mess!!!
Will be doing detailing this week on the boat if time permits..have to install another 454 early this week in a 34 Scarab so try to bear with me.
Twister doesnīt build anymore boats as of this year or ever Iīve heard.
The last one is a 24 Carbon/Kevlar canopy.
Pics will follow as soon itīs out of the dimly lit garage.
Hereīs some info of "our" progress and pics of the first canopied Carbon/Kevlar 24 Twister running.(this year side by side canopy last year inline as we prefer)

cheers, Mickey
Ps. we are planning to do our racecats in the future ourselves nothing to resemble a Twister or Argo but definitely the country of origin will be recognisable.

I like to WIN FAIR AND SQUARE.
Thatway the loser must only admit ones defeat with no excuses (guess itīs a Finnish thing..)
Physically Jon could take a jog now and then ;-)
Mentally...umm.... well letīs leave it ;-)

I dont think it is a Finnish thing only. Just I want to restrict my 'fight' to the water. It is Cliff Smith I am referring to, and as you probably know, he has sabotaged my boat, by once tampering with my fuel, and on another occasion tampering with my electrics. He has also been caught tampering with Martin Weakes's GPS.
So....
If there is a fair race, he will always loose. In a weight restricted class, he alone weighs more than myself and my navigator put together! As a team they outweigh us by 240kg!!! That is like carrying another three people on their boat!
I reserve the right to wish ill on this person - provided the ill befalls him away from the race event itself!
MikeyFIN

Seems you have every right there....
two guys outweight 240kg another two ???
Unbelieveble...but please..do NOT provide a pic :-)

:)
We are ESTIMATING the weight. As the boat weight is crew and boat, they weigh us after each race. He maxxes out the scales! The needle shoots round and hits the stopper!
( also - this is me and my navigator - she is 42kg at the weigh in! )

I envy you...my wife .whois very similiar to your navigator (=wife??) would never consider being a navigator in anything with me behind the wheel in a race.
