i need help with getting the right plug for my v/6 cross flow johnson 200. its an 86/87 model? i currently have champions in it at the time but was told that NGK plugs perform better in two strokes than the champs any info on the right plug and the proper gapping would be helpful. thanks

You might want to try going to www.sparkplugs.com and try to cross reference them, Not sure on the gap for your application.. Louis

If you have an 86 or 87 it's a looper. QL77JC4 is the Champion, BR8(or 9)HS is the NGK. Most people will tell you that an NGK plug will be better, but once they foul they are scrap. Personally I like the Champions better with stock ignition. Gap them at .030".
