View Full Version : Jasper Oct 12th-14th

Jasper, is just around the corner and we need to plan more boating events other than the races for some people to justify hauling their boats along. The river run is always on the Friday before the races and will be the same this year. The races don't usually start till 12-1pm on Saturday, so would anyone be interested in getting something going for that morning, Sunday morning or possibly the Thursday before. Just looking for more ideas of things to do and less down time.

I'll be there! I think on Sunday they normally start the races a little later. I'd like to do some running on Friday and Sunday morning.

I'd better get my @$$ in gear and get some pieces, parts,boat fixed so I can join in the fun.;)

i cant wait :D ,it would be neet to have the river run on friday and sat have a poker run on the same 80 miles,put up a little pot of say 20.00 a boat winner takes it all.

The dam is just below the ramp where we put our boats in last year. Nothing really below the dam (except the Yamaha test facility) the run up stream toward Chattanooga is MUCH better.

The feedback that I am hearing is that most people would like to do something Saturday morning. How does a poker run sound and who would like to help be card stops?

were coming up from lauderdale fri and sat would be great its a long way for us to drag the boats so 2 days would be great we have others comingfrom west coast lets get this going would be great:) :D

I would like to go again. I miss the giant fireworks store and the Hardee's. :( ;)

I am tring, if for some reason I can't make it to Jasper,I am going to shoot for River Ranch. I haven't made any reservations yet, I am hoping to find a bed to lay my head on, like I did last year.;)

mike , we have patterns for the ski Racer windshields if you need some made up . Hope you can make it ! Make reservations for River Ranch , you can always cancel if the light at the end of the tunnel is growing dimmer !!

That's the real reason I travel so much for S&F - to sample burgers everywhere. :D
