High 5 does'nt work real well on Tri Toons, the larger blade area 3-4 blades usually do a lot better

Tried it and the blades are to close together and too small. Just spins in the water producing high RPM's, low speed and the worst fuel mileage you'll ever see! Going to now try a three bladed mirage or trophy style prop like most have been recommending.

I work at a marina and we have had 3 or 4 Aqua Patio's that are 20 to 24 feet in length with 150-225 Optimax's on them. We found for the 200's and 225's that a 22p 4 blade worked out best. They were running about 44MPH and that was with an aluminum blade.
i have a r&l 14/22 4 blade apollo stainless that would be great on that if your counter rotating . jay.

What transom height, or how do you figure out what kind of transom height to run on the tri-toons. Are they best with the motor buried as low as it can go? We have a 24 foot godfrey with a 150 E-tec at my parents shop we have demo'd a couple times. Saw 44 with aluminum but i think it has some more left in it. It also seems too easy to blow out with positive trim.

I have propped a number of triple toon style boats and the thing one must keep in mind is that these applications experience a lot of slip. On the Mercury side, Revolution 4's and Mirage Plus wheels are the popular choice of most pontoon OEM's due to their large blade area. Enertia props can also be a good choice on some triple toons.
